Itinerary

Day 1

Departure from Delhi

Upon your arrival at the Leh Airport, the tour agent’s representative will receive you and will help you in getting transferred to your hotel in Leh.

Day 2

Leh: Sham valley tour

Have a wholesome breakfast at the hotel and then get ready for an adventurous excursion to Sham Valley.

As the drive continues to Alchi, you will get to visit the gravity-defying, mysterious Magnetic Hill and the religious site of Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. You will witness some breathtaking views of the confluence of Zanskar and Indus river. Visiting Alchi Monastery will let you soak in the mystique spiritual bliss of this religious Buddhist place.

Later in the day, visit the Ladakh Hall of Fame, a memorial built for Indian soldiers who laid their life while protecting the nation. As the busy second day’s Leh tour itinerary nears an end, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Leh for a delicious dinner and a cozy overnight stay.

Day 3

Nubra: Travel to Nubra Valley

Day 4

Leh: Enjoy the scenic journey

As you reach Leh in the evening, check in at the hotel and then you go shopping in the famous Leh Bazaar and collect some awesome souvenirs for yourself. Also, visit Leh Jokhang Gompa that was built in 1957 that houses a statue of Joyo Rinpoche. Later, you will visit Leh Mosque- the mosque that displays Aurangzeb-era architecture.

Day 5

Pangong Lake: A day at ‘Heaven in the north’

After a piping-hot breakfast at the hotel in Leh, check out and travel to one of the most picturesque places in India- the Pangong Lake. Bordering with China, this high-altitude lake is the real example of natural beauty that Ladakh is blessed with.

Enroute, visit Shey Palace and Gompa which is known for its ancient Tibetan history and the 7.5-meter tall statue of Lord Buddha. Also, this scenic journey lets you witness the picturesque villages of Shey and Thikse. Passing through the Chang la Pass at 18,000 feet, promises to shoot your adrenaline levels high.

Day 6
